Allan Justo Pastrana

Allan Justo Pastrana is a writer, musician, and teacher. He holds a master’s degree in creative writing from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. Many of his poems have appeared in various anthologies and journals like SOFTBLOW Poetry Journal, Cordite Poetry Review, and Vagabond Press’ Asia Pacific Writing Series. His works have received prizes from the Maningning Miclat Art Foundation and the Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature. He has published two poetry books, Body Haul (winner of the 2013 Madrigal-Gonzalez Best First Book Award) and Field. Pastrana teaches at the Ateneo de Manila University.
