Urbanised Relic

Drinking off-kilter drums through the concrete ceiling
Obstructing Every
(When). Blaring, can barely receive
ownership
of my senses
And bit by bob by screw undone into incineration

Silver seasoned flesh wraps a primeval newborn
with a glitch metastasising, strings of muscle
Bound to muted labour,
The song of self:
A concession endemic to rare dreams of freedom, a lullaby incarcerated
Wilting in the sunlessness of becoming

Ingrown modernity a wiry flightlessness
Redirecting
the straits of my expanse overriding
Ancestral stillness with the very immigrant
need
to reach the colossal pulse
that leaves holes in you. Dead or alive.
Another construction site,
Impeding on an ancient archive

Internal

I was threads of motherlands
Eye in the needles
Before
I am forgetful
Now
Of the words I was not bathed in
Recognising their kinship through an immemorial blink
I know this is resurrected because I must unhinge
My jaw to fit the earth of it in my mouth
