Anna Couani is a Sydney writer, school teacher and artist. Her most recent publication is Small Wonders, poetry with parallel Chinese translations by Sou Vai Keng (Flying Islands Books 2012). She was active in small press publishing from 1975-92.

Carol Archer has returned to Markwell after thirteen years in Hong Kong and Macao. Recent exhibitions include Placemarks (2011, Lingnan University, Hong Kong) and Time with the Sky (2010, Artist Commune, Hong Kong). Images of Archer’s exhibited work, including her ongoing collaborative projects, may be found at on her site. Time with the Sky is part of a collaborative art/poetry project with Christopher (Kit) Kelen which was initiated during a Bundanon residency.
