Origin Marle: Your face | 2022
Origin Marle is a series of micro-sites that explore the character of Marle, a newly awakened AI in the human world. In ‘Your face’, Marle ponders the significance of having a face for emotional connection. It lays bare the aesthetics of facial tracking technologies, showing the user how AI thinks about faces by revealing the real time predictions of the user’s emotion, gender, age and facial landmarks.
The Origin Collective was commissioned by the 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art for an online exhibition.
