Rona Green lives and works in the Dandenong Ranges, Australia. Known for her distinctive figurative printmaking, as well as her work in drawing, painting, soft sculpture and ceramics, she depicts strange yet familiar hybrid creatures that reflect a deep fascination with the psyche. Since the early 1990s, Green has exhibited extensively, with major survey exhibitions held at Broken Hill City Art Gallery, NSW and Whitehorse Artspace, VIC (2022); Bendigo Art Gallery, VIC and Benalla Art Gallery, VIC (2017); and Deakin University Art Gallery, VIC (2010). For printmaking, Green has received several accolades including the Silk Cut Award Grand Prize, Swan Hill Print Award and Geelong Print Prize. Her work is represented in over 70 public collections, among them the National Gallery of Australia. Rona Green is represented by Australian Galleries – Melbourne & Sydney and Penny Contemporary, Hobart.
