I just heard
two fat-faced U.S. politicians
talking of Iraq

& one man claimed

the way to kill insurgencies was 'clear a hole,'
& then he said

'a hole
is being cleared - why, I

have spent the night myself, & that should show
how big a hole we've cleared' -

& I just bet

that when this U.S. politician spent the night
the fact that he was not a bloodied Shiite child
or headless Sunni corpse by morning only

proved him right.
