The Melbourne Writers Festival hosts Writers at Como on the weekend of 25-27 February. In terms of poetry, the program features Roo Borson, a Canadian poet and winner of the 2004 Governer General?s award for poetry. Roo is living in Australia on a five month sabbatical and will be reading at the Gala Opening and will also appear in a conversation session on the Saturday with the festivals? resident poetry lover, Ellen Koshland.
