For Sydneysiders, the salon is a monthly lounge night that fuses music, discussion and esoterica, and projections of original artworks and poems.

This month?s topic is the news: How does it fit into today?s money-driven, time-poor media environment? Is there a compromise between investigative journalism and tabloid teasers?
