The Ashes Urn Returns!

23 May 2008

Well, we're not sure whether there's Ashes involved (this is after all a Test series between Australia and the West Indies) and we're also pretty certain the winner's trophy is not an Urn (or an Ern) but the good news is that cricket tragic and bulk ace poet Nick Whittock has travelled to the Caribbean for the commencement of the first test between Ponting's Aussies and um … the Windies. Catch Nick's impressions of the players, the tour and the city of Kingston, Jamaica on the ever-expanding Ashes/Urn blog – right here on the Cordite site. How many other poetry websites can say they've got a correspondent at Sabina Park? None, we say, none!
