St Kilda Writers Festival

18 January 2005

The inaugural St Kilda Writers Festival is fast approaching! Kicking off on 31 January and continuing through eight days of workshops, panels, performances and competitions, it?s sure to be a wordfest for the writer within. The festival website now features a full program and is your best bet for information on session times and so on.

The festival writing competition may be of particular interest: with the theme St Kilda: Tales From the Edge, the organisers seek poems of up to thirty lines (there?s also a short story and a songwriting category). If you?re a St Kilda resident, entry is free. For the rest of us it?s $10. The competition close 5pm Friday 28 January, 2005. So get busy!
