Cordite lives to fight another year!

16 December 2009

2010Now that all things 'embargo' have expired, we're tickled flamingo pink to inform you that Cordite has been successful in our application for funding from the Literature Board of the Australia Council for the Arts.

As in previous years, our funding agreement for 2010 supports payments for original works by Australian poets, as well as the maintenance of our website. One thing that will be different in 2010, something about which we're very excited, is that we will officially move to a tri-annual format.

Therefore in 2010 we will publish full issues of Cordite Poetry Review in April (#32), August (#33) and December (#34). In one sense this is merely a recognition that for the past two years we have in fact been publishing three issues a year anyway. In another sense it means that you'll get three chances to submit to Cordite next year!

In fact, you can contribute to our 32nd issue: ZOMBIE 2.0 right now!

We appreciate the continued support of the Literature Board, and look forward to presenting poetry in even more innovative formats in the new year. Until then, on with the Post-Epic! Three hundred and thirty lines and counting so far!
