Cordite at MWF!

Cordite Poetry Review is proud to present sixty minutes of poetic mayhem at the St Kilda Library as part of the umbrella program for this year?s Melbourne Writers Festival.

Featuring six poets from the last six issues of Cordite, plus a special announcement with regards Cordite?s inaugural poetry competition, the evening of MONDAY AUGUST 23 is going to be a swift and stimulating one.

Cordite editor David Prater will be handling MC duties and introducing the following line-up of performers, each of whom has been asigned his or her own Dewey Decimal number for the evening:

Tom Clark 299.675 (zombiism)

Emilie Zoey Baker 641.222 4 (sparkling wine – there was no number for glitter)

Carlie Lazar 025.524 (search strategy, information science)

Michael Farrell 796.78 (driving family cars)

Alicia Sometimes 512.72 (roots, number theory)

Sean Whelan 202.13 (heroes, objects of worship).

Proceedings kick off at 6.30pm sharp and conclude at 7.30pm.

Six poets.

Six issues.

Sixty minutes.

One library.

Be there, or be overdue.
