We're thrilled and excited to say that we've now gone live with the second part of our Epic issue. Cordite 31.1: POST-EPIC aims, in the spirit of Ko Un's Maninbo (Ten Thousand Lives), to produce 10,000 lines of epic poetry. Towards this end, the poets featured in our Epic issue have each nominated a line from their work to be used as the title and starting point for a new Post-Epic poem.
We warmly invite you to to add a new line to one or many of these thirty four post-epics, and hope that you will embrace and enjoy the Post-Epic format. We've also taken the liberty of posting a 'Cordite' Post-Epic editorial composed of the first lines from each of these epics-under-construction.
While aiming towards 10,000 lines might seem like a lofty target, if we could manage to receive over 1200 responses to a single Renga (see Cordite 29.1: Haikunaut), anything is possible! Making your contribution is as simple as leaving a comment on any post. We're looking forward to reading your post-epic lines.
