Patrick Jones: Graffiti Wall on the move

Patrick writes:

“With Melbourne City Council's zero tolerance of graffiti and the war that the Herald Sun launched on graf artists [leading up to the Commonwealth Games], a work was devised that both celebrated graf art and mocked the corporate clean-up of the city while the games were on. I took 5 shots of an infamous section of wall in Carlton in order to blow them up to A0 size and mount them on 10mm backing boards. The idea was to take the graffiti to 'tourist hotspots', that is places where the Herald Sun wanted the graffiti dealt with.”
