A mariner kills the albatross, black-figured Smelie vessel, second quarter of the 6th century B.C., Vatican Museum, Rome.
Eddy Burger is a writer of funny and experimental poetry, fiction, plays, zines and work that combines art with text. His writing has appeared in local and overseas journals, including Cordite, and on spoken word CDs. He has featured at many literary events over the past 16 years and is a former winner of the Melbourne Fringe Festival’s Spoken Word Award. In 2007 the Melbourne Poets Union published his chapbook Funny & Strange, and in 2009 Small Change Press published his collection Impressions Of Me.
