Sean M Whelan and Isnod (pictured above) first starting working together in 2011 when they were specially commissioned to record a track by the joint Japanese/Australian literary magazine Red Leaves. In the short time they have been together they have been invited to perform at dozens of venues and festivals including the inaugural Harvest Festival with acts such as Portishead and Flaming Lips. They are currently working on creating a short film in collaboration with artist Dyana Gray, and will be releasing their debut EP in early 2012.

About Sean M. Whelan


Sean M Whelan has published two books of poetry, Love is the New Hate and Tattooing the Surface of the Moon. He has worked extensively with rock band The Mime Set, writing three shows together and is now working with new band The Interim Lovers. He programs Babble, a long running spoken word event in Melbourne and is one of the co-coordinators of Liner Notes, a series of readings that are spoken tributes to iconic albums. In 2009 he toured North America and was one of the co-writers and performers of Elemental at the Melbourne Planetarium, which held a sold out season at the Melbourne International Arts Festival.
